Who we are
Our History
Cross Culture Church (CCC) was formed through a merger of two congregations, Hope of the Nations Church and Sonrise Baptist Church, during the 2020-2021 pandemic. This unification brought together a diverse body of believers, blending different traditions and strengths to form one community committed to worship, discipleship, and outreach. Since its formation, CCC has focused on creating a tight-knit family environment that serves both its members and the broader Mobile, Alabama community.
Our Culture
CCC is family-oriented, welcoming, and casual. We emphasize a sense of belonging and genuine relationships. The atmosphere is relaxed, and people are encouraged to come as they are. With a small congregation, every person is known and valued.
Our Pastor
Rovy Lopez serves as the interim pastor at CCC. He is passionate about people and fostering a strong sense of community. In addition to this role, he is the Director of Visual Media in the Office for Marketing and Public Relations at the University of Mobile. He is an experienced event and documentary filmmaker, published photographer, and co-owner of Kasama Studios.
